Web cam and Headset configuration
1. On the OMNIK LaunchPad, click on "Tools"
and then select "Media Setting".
2. The following "Audio and Video Setting"
window pops up.
3. Click on "Next >" to move to the next
page.
4. Click on the down arrow and bring down the camera list. Select
the camera you would like to use and click on "Next >" to
move to the next page.
5. Adjust the focus of camera and check if the video is working
well. Click on "Next >" to move to the next page.
6. Click on "Next >" to move to the next
page.
7. Click on the down arrow for microphone/speaker and bring
down the device list. Select the audio device you want to use, respectively.
Click on "Next >" to move to the next page.
8. Click on "Click to Test Speakers" and
listen to the speakers or headset for the test sound.
9. Adjust the volume with the "Speaker Volume" slider bar, if necessary. Click
on the "Stop" button to stop the test sound. Click on "Next
>" to move to the next page.
10. Speak to the microphone and see if the volume level is okay.
Adjust the volume with the slider bar if necessary. Click on "Next >"
to move to the next page.
11. Click on "Finish" to exit from the setup
process. You are now ready to use the OMNIK chat room software.
