To make a call to one of your contacts:

1. On the LaunchPad, click on the contact you want to call and highlight the name (same as the above section).

 

2. Click on "Actions" -> "Media Chat" to bring up the 1-to-1 media call window or right-click on the highlighted contact and select "Media Chat" from the dropdown menu.

3. The following media call window appears.

4. During the audio/video call, you may adjust the microphone and speakers or headset volumes using the sliders next to the mute buttons ( for microphone and for speakers). You may click on those two buttons to mute the devices, respectively.

5. While talking in a 1-to-1 media chat session, you may stil use all the text chat function as described above.
